Spring's awaiting..
Mood:  hug me
Now Playing: Pretty Woman
Topic: Airstream Ownership
It's bright and early in the am
I awaken to the inner sound of my strong heartbeat with a sudden rush of urgency. The day was awaiting, pointing a strong finger for me to catch up...
As I drink my coffee, the wxbug tells me it a rather cold 4 degrees outside and, yet I dared to remove and uncover myself to greet this day.
Life is so full of surprises as we all know. Just yesterday, for example, I was "surfin" the web and, stumbled across a NASA site concerning JPL's project "Stardust" from the past. How far back I really don't remember but it was in the early days of the internet. Brief history:
NASA JPL was making it possible to include your name on a chip to be send into outer space on one of their missions called the Stardust. At the time, I entered my entire family member's names. As well as 136,000 other people. I found out that the mission had been launched into space on Feb7, 1999, and now it was scheduled to arrive back on Earth sometime this year in 2006. WOW, so much has happened since then, I had totally forgotten about this~ The real neat thing is that, one microchip with all of our our names on it will stay in outer space forever while the other one returns. Isn't this the KEWLEST thing???
Here's the link:

Just look under the T'section. Go to: Vernon L. Townsend, etc.
That's my thoughts for the day..27FEB, 2006

The raw materials of life...
Topic: Airstream Ownership
Today's date is: July 31st, 2005.
It's 6:17 am, on a Sunday morning.
I thought I'd start another one of these pages for the purpose of sharing knowledges learned.
It's been over 7 yrs since I first created my first web-design site. What a change has evolved over that entire frontier~Almost like the "Wild West Days" of the 19th century, slipped into the 21st century in the blink of eye..taking it forward in the span of one week..
So much has happened in that time frame, we that created it, should bears witness to future generation.
I'll visit and post reflections from the past, with a strong attempt to tie in the future.
Be good to all and, treat yourself like royalty.
ciao
Vern
